This war
Will not be beat
By might or fright
Nor speed or grief
But by simplicity
Anonymity
And an unwavering focus
On setting the foundations.

Sometimes I hear whispers, or I think I do, I am not always certain as to their existence or reality. Whether they are just hopeful imaginary sounds, or messages passed on from other realms, but they have a way of appearing on paper when I write them down.
Mostly when I do not think, relax my mind and just let them press themselves onto paper, or lately even my electronic devices.
The above poem was one of those messages, as are many of my poems but not all of them. Some are pushed as a lesson, forced onto paper with a purpose.
Others I barely pause to think or reflect on, but just let them appear as if out of thin air, they appear fully formed without a thought.
The poem above is one that intrigued me, both cryptic and yet succinct. It seems to indicate the way forward, towards peace and freedom, will be paved not on fighting or with might. Not by enticing or manipulation of minds. But only by humility, simplicity and a focus on setting the foundations.
So what are these foundations?
What are the pillars that hold up our world, or more specifically the world we demand. A free world. One untwisted from all the lies and strings and secrets and things that tangle and collude to control us and intrude on our divine right to live, breathe, love, learn and explore. The right to argue, disagree, feel jealousy and then grow more.
Because better is only possible with a few busted knees. Perfection if it ever exists is honed through hardship and not just born fully formed. There must be a night to our day, there must be wolves in the way, just as they exist in the Yellowstone Park.
Awareness and education
The world is blind and distracted, both intentionally and by its own making.
Despite the wealth of information to show our situation as something grim, unique, and yet scary and bleak. Most are blissfully unaware. Yes, omission and deception have a hand in this.
Just as pain, or the eversion towards it does. Why would anyone want to dwell on doom and gloom, darkness and poisons? So they don't.
It is kept out of mind and far away just like a sabretooth tiger would not be welcome in your cave, these ideas are not welcome in their thoughts because they are not safe.
Unfortunately, that leaves us in a bind. Where their cooperation is necessary to push back against the tyrannical madness that is consuming our nation and world. And without them we are small, too small to push against the great tide of social movement formed against us.
But imagine if they knew. Imagine if they understood, all the secrets, twists and nooks, framing the world as it appears to be today. And how it is done.
If the people can understand, the people can resist.
If only we can get their attention. How we best achieve this end is not yet apparent to me but perhaps you can tell me.
Focus and collaboration
We are all different and we all want for difference. We are billions of unique souls, in our unique vessels, poured from the cosmic lake that connects us all. In our cups we are unique. But in our souls we meet and greet as we all pour from the same cosmic tide. Just as water in one cup is quite different from the water in another, yet both cups are sourced from the same river, clouds, rain, seas etcetera.
Our singularity and yet uniqueness both have to be realized to form a purpose, an objective, the mission.
How can we unite in our differences?
What purpose binds us all?
Beyond love, evolution, triumph and a desire towards retribution?
Is there a common theme that we can collaborate towards?
Humility and service to others
Ego is not the enemy, we should all strive to be the best we can be. The real enemy is excessive ego. To be unable to be slighted. To be unable to be condemned. To think your objective and one source of truth is more important than any others.
Our world today is full of ego. And ironically, too little of it. The happy medium is indeed a dying art. And with it we lose our hearts and the ability to best serve others and humanity, towards a a thriving balance of all the richness life gifts us. Through its trials and our ability to overcome those trials. Through the first kiss on a late night date at the beach on a beautiful summer's eve. Or the gift of giving and bringing joy to another.
We must strive to be humble. But not to excess where nothing is worth anything because nothing is unique and sacred.
We must find balance to find focus. And anonymity to be seen and heard.
The freedom to disagree
Most essential is the freedom to disagree. We are not free unless we can disagree. To be forced to agree, even with a beautiful and balanced pursuit is to be chained and caged in some shape or form.
One size fits all, in my experience does not really suit many at all.
The jungle is not one type of tree, or animal, or insect. It is a thriving ecosystem held in perpetual balance in ways too complicated for us to truly understand.
Our gut is not one type of bacteria or microorganism.
Our oceans are not one kind of fish.
Diversity and difference is the only constant in nature. And the closest thing man can observe to perpetual life and evolution. For perpetual energy may not exist in our models. Yet all around us the world keeps turning. Without a doubt the closest possible model for perpetual balance and energy is those we see in the cosmos.
So as man maneuvers himself towards a unified world and a one world government. A single entity in command. We only move ourselves further and further away from those models we see around us, towards its exact opposite.
The solution is not centralization. The solution is decentralization and to rebuild ourselves as a species of diversity.
Like a microbiome in a gut, our Earth is our host and we can choose to be balanced with it or a nasty tummy bug.
It is our freedom to choose, to soothe or to corrupt and kill. But remember what happens when you take the wolves out of the Yellowstone Park. We may not like it, but we need both Yin and Yang to create balance and equilibrium. And so this is true in our social organization from the smallest units, to the largest.
To be free, we must be free to disagree.
As a boy I found a four leaf clover
Laying beneath my childhood swing
But luck I did not find with it
Only loss and hardship
And yet through those toils
I have broken apart and healed again
More times than I ever cared to
Perhaps luck is not with me
Or perhaps my luck was to master the art
Of taking the broken and fixing them
Stitching them
And the trials I faced were just the lessons
Needed to perfect my craft
"Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts" is how great thngs are accomplished.
excellent and inspiring!
